- Cannot do NOT-search with different case sensitity?
- Monthly workload accepts mouse input on meaningless fields
- Workload:_Moving_between_Graph_and_Daily_tabs_looses_current_date_slection
- Workload: Date outside the learning process: Jan 12, 2007
- If you cancel a merge (I was merging a subset), it just goes ahead and merges what had been written into the temporary file up to the point of cancelling rather than aborting the entire merge operation
- Delay information mismatch in Element Data Window
- Delay Factor wrongly estimated
- Stats not updated after Q&A import
- Category not set at Q&A import
[edit] Design problems
- Collection merge is incomplete
- Backup on file pick-list is misleading
- Texts in templates get changed unpredictably
- HTML gets filtered when moving between collections
- Need to run without Administrator privilegs in Windows
- Rename collection unreliable
- Changing one texts reformats all similar texts
[edit] Problems to investigate
- elements reported as belonging to a selected category are not referenced as belonging to it in the category registry
- Topics appear as Q&A Item on PocketPC
- chinese characters in UTF8 XML Q&A export are encoded wrong
- cloze deletion on duplicate extracts leads to a wrong q&a pair in items
- Scrambled questions and answers
- Merging collections changes the font
- Error setting focus on HTML component
- Stubborn HTML formatting
- Problem import SuperMemo CE XML file into SuperMemo 2004
- Elements get mixed
- Delete repetition history dialog behind the repetition history window
- Toolbars have the same width as the computer screen. If reopened, they shrink to normal size. However, this same problem occurs if the application is restarted
- Update: Actually, those toolbars only suddenly shrink back to normal when I try to resize them. Reopening does not change the size at all.
- The toolbar dock keeps appearing after being closed when I switch to another application. The big oversized toolbar sits right in front of the interface of the application I wants to use
- When generating cloze questions, selections with "&" in front, like in "information a & infromation b", will not be made successfully: the parent topic and the generated item for the affected word (information b) use the same HTML. Both display [...] for that word, if change the text in parent topic, the generated item will be changed as well.
- RTF texts got mixed up
- Shortcut conflicts in the text registry
- Content window redrawing problem when moving items
- The Convert to plain text command invoked via Shift+Ctrl+F12 identifies and removes formatting from element components to leave plain text. If an element contains formatted text in both the question and answer components and E is used to edit them sequentially, the Shift+Ctrl+F12 command only works for the question component. When the focus is moved away from the first component (question) and onto the second (answer), pressing Shift+Ctrl+F12 results in the This text contains no formatting message and the text is unchanged. However, if the components are accessed separately, via the Q and A commands, then the Shift+Ctrl+F12 sequence works correctly and removes any formatting.
- SM2004 importable UTF-8 encoded Q&A text files no longer importable in SM2006
- It's impossible to input symbol 'f' in the HTML/UNICODE field in the Find Unicode dialog. Every time pressing 'f' one run search because of shortcut 'F' in the 'Find button'
- SuperMemo should ask if I want to modify only this element as soon as any change is applied (e.g. component resized) and not only upon adding a new component or deleting one of the available ones
- SuperMemo loses track of images, loses some formatting, and loses the component's mode upon transferring collections
- Not all font sizes are allowed in HTML
- Mis-reported priority upon extract
- References created within a paragraph extend to the entire paragraph
- Strange scrollbar in Analysis:Matrices
- When I import a Q&A text file into a category, it applies the category template, but Ctrl+Alt+P says "category:none".
