Cannot install collections due to 16-bit error

I downloaded a collection mix but received the “16-bit error“ type of message. Read your FAQ and downloaded again to same effect. Now I cannot download anymore (i.e. the button does not appear anymore). I use Vista.

Answer

You can always receive alternative download instructions via mail. You can also obtain alternative installation methods (e.g. plain ZIP file with your collections). Use shop (AT) supermemo (DOT) com for help in such cases.

Technical

Vista may not allow you to install collections in certain folders. It may also require administrative privileges to run the installer. It will also not allow some of older 16-bit setup programs.
