Reviewing extracts after all the relevant clozes have been produced from it
From SuperMemopedia
Question
When using cloze deletion with an item, I get another item below it (expected). However, when I review my items, the original item shows up without the cloze deletion as one of the things to remember, but nothing is missing. Is that expected?
Example: Virgil wrote The Aeneid.
Then I press Alt+Z on Virgil.
When I review, I have two items to remember, but there really isn't anything to remember from the full sentence "Virgil wrote The Aeneid." Is this just for repetition?
Answer
Once you think you have produced all relevant clozes from a given extract, you should press Ctrl+Shift+Enter (equivalent of right-clicking over the element's empty area and choosing Learning : Done so that the original extract no longer appears in your learning process.
