Wikipedia articles polluted with "Last updated ..." texts

Question:

Why do I see "Last updated 7 days ago" in many Wikipedia entries and even in element titles?

Answer:

• This is a new feature of Wikipedia that is not accounted for by the Wikipedia filter in SuperMemo. "Last updated 7 days ago" tells you that the imported web page was updated a week ago. To get rid of this nuisance, you will need to wait for an update to SuperMemo (probably only SuperMemo 15 and later will bo fixed due to the minimum harm caused). The text "Last updated 7 days ago" will show up on the title only if you mistakenly include it in the #Title: reference tag.
• As of July 9, 2012, Wikipedia does not seem to show those texts any more. Probably that feature was not too popular and was withdrawn.
